Health & Safety For Home Workers
Data published by the Office for National Statistics shows that 28% of working adults reported both working from home and travelling to work between September 2022 to January 2023. With the home being the most common location for an accident to happen, it's essential that home working employees are able to carry out their work activities safely. They must understand the health and safety hazards in their homes and know what controls are needed to manage them effectively.
This course details the most crucial aspects of health and safety present in the home, including display screen equipment (DSE), manual handling, fire safety and electrical safety. It also covers monitoring procedures and regular communication, as well as looking after your well-being and mental health when working from home.
