Hearing Voices Workshop - Equilibrium

Dr Palmer is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the Scientific and Medical Network and the Society for Psychical Research. He has been trained in hypnotherapy by the Proudfoot School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and the Royal Society of Medicine and has a diploma in medical hypnosis from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr Palmer has been a spirit release practitioner since 2003 and his doctorate was awarded for his research on the scientific study of spirit possession. His thesis is published as The Science of Spirit Possession 2nd edition. Dr Palmer is active in promoting scientific research into the efficacy of spirit release methods with universities in the UK and USA and he teaches spirit release methods in the UK and the USA. His philosophy is to integrate clinical practice with education and research.

A demonstration and practical workshop
For people who hear voices and therapists who are asked to treat them, this practical workshop has been initiated in response to the recent increase in reported cases of individuals experiencing the distress of Auditory Voice Hallucinations (AVH). This rise in the incidence of cases is causing concern in the mental health profession as resources are coming under increasing pressure from the demand for psychiatric interventions and effective treatment regimens. A coalition of psychiatrists, medical practitioners and complementary therapists have convened a series of conferences and projects with a view to addressing the problem by introducing complementary approaches to treatment in the search for clinical ‘Best Practice’. Medical psychiatry assumes that auditory hallucinations are ‘imagined’ and assumed to be a symptom of mental illness. However, voices are often found to be originating from negative spirit forms, often referred to as ‘dark force entities’ (DFEs) or the earth-bound spirits of the deceased (EBs) or dialogues between ‘dissociated’ parts of the Self that are hidden below conscious awareness in cases of ‘Dissociative Identity Disorder’ (DID).
During demonstrations and practical workshops, volunteers who hear voices are to be invited to participate in a demonstration of the techniques applied in the identification and removal of the causes of the voices.
Medical practitioners, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists are invited to witness and comment on the complementary methods used in this workshop.
Volunteers who would like to have their distressing voices removed are invited to attend free of charge. 
The three methods to be demonstrated are:
(a)   Direct one-to-one hypnosis
(b)   One-to-one hypnosis with the guidance of a spirit guide through a psychic medium
(c)    Remote (at a distance) with the therapist and medium acting as a team for a person not present.

Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be provided for a mid-morning break.
What's the refund policy?
If you cancel in advance of ten days prior to the event you will receive a refund less 25% deducted for admin costs.  If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund. 
All proceeds, if any, after all costs have been recovered are to be used to help fund our research.
