A practical course at Boundary Brook Nature Park for those who already have some hedgelaying experience but want to practice and improve.

Boundary Brook

<p>On this course you will learn how to prepare a hedge for laying, how to cut and lay the stems using hand tools, how to place hedging stakes within the hedge and how to bind the hedge on completion. We will be taking on a more challenging section of hedge along the allotment boundary.  You will also learn why this traditional woodland management skill is so beneficial to wildlife, creating the ideal conditions for many plants, animals, insects &amp; birds to thrive.</p>
<p>The course is ideal for those who already have some practical experience of hedgelaying but want to practice and improve.</p>
