Help the Hedgehogs - Duckmanton

Could you make your garden a haven for hedgehogs? Join the Wilder Chesterfield team for a morning of hedgehog-themed fun at the Duckmanton Miners Welfare Club! Learn how to check if you have hedgehogs in your garden by building a footprint tunnel, enjoy hedgehog crafts and hunt for hedgehog habitats on a habitat walk. This is a family event so all ages are welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Wilder Chesterfield project team will be on hand to answer any of your local wildlife questions. Refreshments and all equipment are provided.

Some of the activities will take place outside (optional) so please come dressed appropriately for the weather. If you would like to make a footprint tunnel, it may be helpful to bring a carrier bag or something to take the parts away in.
