HemiHelp Fun Run 2016

We are Contact, the charity for families with disabled children. We understand that life with a disabled child brings unique challenges, and we exist to help families feel valued, supported, confident and informed.To make that happen, we work in three closely linked ways. We support families with the best possible guidance and information.  We bring families together in local groups and online, to support each other by sharing experiences and advice. And we help families to campaign, volunteer, fundraise and shape local services to improve life for themselves and others.HemiHelp became part of the Contact family in 2018. We provide support and information to families living with Hemiplegia.

Contact/ HemiHelp

The HemiHelp Fun Run returns to London’s Victoria Park for the fourth time on Sunday! This is an event for of all ages; with a 10k race and a 3k route for families and under 16’s.
Victoria Park is lovely with plenty to see and do. And there are pubs, cafes and shops to explore once the running has finished. Supporters and spectators are encouraged!
Registration is closed. But you can sign up on the day at Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets Athletics Club, on Cadogan Terrace E9 5EG from 10am.
To enter the 10k you must be aged 17 or over. Entry is £20.
Entry to the 3k is FREE for if you are aged between 9 and 16. £20 for adults, and children aged 8 or under.
The routes will be marshalled and all KM points will be clearly highlighted. A covered and manned bag drop area will be available to all participants. There will be first-aiders on duty throughout the morning. Runners are advised to bring their own water and refreshments, though there are several drinking fountains along the route.
