Overview

This is funded training which is free to attend for those who work in Devon, Torbay, Plymouth or Gloucestershire.

Hepatitis Awareness

Can you get Hepatitis from casual contact with other people?

From dried blood? From Saliva?

What is the impact of living with Hepatitis and why do some people clear it and some people experience health problems because of it?

Join us for this 1/2 day session and get the answers to the above and find out all you need to know about issues around viral hepatitis A, B and C.

This session will include looking at transmission, testing, treatments and impact on people's lives.

OR - as all of our training is funded so free for you to attend - make the day really count and combine this module with our morning session on the same day!

HIV - Not just an '80's thing

Do you work with people?

How would you react to a colleague or client disclosing being HIV positive?

Do you know the difference between HIV & AIDS?

Are your knowledge and facts based on adverts from the 1980s or Hollyoaks?

Time for an upgrade.....This 1/2 day module is an opportunity for you to gain up-to-date  and relevant information on HIV and AIDS in the 21st century.

The session will include information about prevention and issues faced by people living with HIV so come and join us.

This event along with many others is listed separately and happens at various venues and dates across Devon, Torbay, Plymouth and Gloucestershire so please check our events list to book on if you wish to attend on a different date or another location. All of our training is accredited. Our 1/2 day modules qualify you to progress onto our specialist full day courses which are designed to provide you with a deeper knowledge.
