Learning from Art + Technology Residency Programme
Join us for a panel discussion with former SPACE Art + Technology artists in residence as they explore the residency’s impact on their practice and artistic progress. What does it mean to take time out to work on a single project? What do you learn from sharing a studio with artists working in a similar field? How has their work changed and developed since the residency?
This event is an opportunity to learn more about the practicalities and pitfalls of working on a residency focused on emerging technologies. It looks at how artists react and adapt to digital trends and how residency programmes can support artists.
Following the panel discussion, guests are invited to stay for a drink and chat at the bar, with the opportunity for interested artists to ask questions about the current open call for the next SPACE Art + Technology residency, <A HREF="http://www.spacestudios.org.uk/art-technology/focus-next-art-tech-residency-open-call/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Focus – Next: Future Human</A> (deadline: 17 July, 10am).
