Heritage as a Catalyst

The AtticLeeds, England
Tuesday, May 19  •  6 PM - 8:30 PM
Overview

Join our UKREiiF26 fringe event ‘Heritage as a Catalyst for Regeneration’, with Hull City Council, Norwich County Council, and Purcell.

The event will explore how heritage assets, when reimagined and reinvested in, become a catalyst for meaningful regeneration.

Through practical methods and real-world examples, the event will offer insights into regeneration through place-making and adaptive reuse, drawing on perspectives from Hull City Council, before looking at how to unlock pathways for heritage led-development with Norwich City Council.

The presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion on how stakeholders can work together to secure sustainable futures for heritage assets.

Together, these themes will demonstrate how heritage capital can underpin forward-looking development that delivers long-term benefits for local economies, communities and the environment, creating places that inspire and strengthen resilience.
