About this event

Come and join us, everyone is welcome with a lower age limit of 14 years for dry stone walling.

We are rebuilding 900 m of dry stone walling, planting and maintaining over 3,000 trees, and developing an organic allotment.

Dry stone walling is a heritage craft and here you will get chance to learn "how to", practice on a real wall (which is the real learning according to our oversight: walling master Mr Andy Lawson), and drink in the fresh air, panoramic views and light-hearted company of fellow volunteers. We're a right interesting bunch and have some interesting stories to tell.

Fetch a packed lunch and we will keep you plied with fresh barista coffees from our very own BaaBucks

At Harwes Farm, our key philosophy is if you have something beautiful, you should share it with the world. We love all things natural and we’re enthusiastic to share our love of nature with as many people as possible. The natural world is an incredible thing, and it’s so easy to forget how important nature is whilst we go about our busy day-to-day lives.
