About this event
Ever attended a meeting and felt it was not a good use of your and even others’ time? If so, you're a member of an enormous club.
The prevalence of meetings seems to have spiralled out of control, at and between organisations large and small. The numbers of business meetings has increased by over 150% since the start of the Covid pandemic. Worse, over 75% of them fail to meet their objectives. Their contribution to low productivity and increasing levels of anxiety and stress is catastrophic.
In this module of Ethical Reading’s Thriving at Work training, we explore this issue and provide practical techniques for addressing it to create a healthy and ethical workplace.
The module will cover:
- The meeting pandemic
- Face-to-face vs virtual
- Attention levels
- The 3 key types
- Meeting management
After registering, we kindly ask that you join the event at least 5 minutes early — each module follows a tight timeline, and we’d love for you to catch everything from the start!
