So why not combine the two?

Parking is limimted & can fill up fast so give yourself enough time to find a spot and get to the meeting point.

We will meet outside the Crown Pub on Didsbury Road at 10:00 πŸ•₯ and work our way down the cobbled street and into Mersey Vale Nature Park & along the river path (weather permitted β˜€οΈπŸŒ§οΈ) before looping back round to finish where we started.
The route is mostly flat πŸ‘ but does finish on a cheeky hill back to the meeting point (the hill is about 200m long & a maximum elevation of 50m ).
Total distance of the walk is roughly 5.5km

Well-behaved doggies are welcome πŸ¦΄πŸ’›.

The walk will be at a steady pace πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ to give everyone a chance to have a proper natter πŸ—£οΈπŸ˜Š
There will be plenty of pit stops along the way

The vast majority of the walk is along a path however it can get a bit muddy and puddly in certain parts so be sure to wear appropriate footwear πŸ‘ŸπŸ₯Ύ.

This isn’t a fitness event so you don’t have to be a seasoned walker. It’s simply a chance to get out in the fresh air , make some meaningful connections and nourish our nervous systems

πŸ’› Β£2 of every ticket purchased will be donated to a local charity: Stockport Without Abuse πŸ’›
