About this event

  • 1 hour

Starting at Flux Sculpture, Claudia Parsons Hall courtyard

Finishing at Hazlerigg Building (near the main entrance to the University)

Loughborough University's campus is home to over 40 sculptures, many of which are prominently located. Some, however, are a little more off the beaten track. Led by the University’s Curator David Bell, this tour will take in some of campus’ lesser-known sculptural gems.

Starting at Flux, a newly commissioned work for the courtyard of Claudia Parsons Hall, the tour will take in works by recent graduates alongside pieces commissioned during the University’s expansion in the 1950s and 60s. Featuring both indoor and outdoor works, in a diverse range of materials, this tour is guaranteed to give you a new perspective on campus!

Attendees may like to attend the inauguration of Flux from 2-3pm.

Visit the Flux Inauguration booking page

Accessibility

The tour will be step-free and stick to paved areas.

If you have any specific access requirements then please contact LUArts@lboro.ac.uk in advance of your visit and we will do our best to accommodate them.
