Is there a dress code for the event?

There's no dress code - we want you to feel comfortable throughout the day; as much as we hope for sunshine, Manchester weather can never be guaranteed, so layers may be an idea!

Do I need to bring a printed ticket?

Accepted Answer

No need to print - just bring your Eventbrite confirmation email (on your phone is fine).

Question 3

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes - one of the reasons we chose The Lowry is for its accessibility. There is level access for entry to the building, ramp access to the registration area, and a large lift to the conference room. There's also a Changing Places bathroom facility.

Question 4

Can I bring my child / children to the conference?

Accepted Answer

This event isn't aimed at children so we ask that alternative arrangements are made for childcare on the day (and we appreciate that isn't always easy). The day involves listening to speakers and joining workshops, so isn't appropriate for little ones. We're planning a separate family event.

Question 5

Are there any discounts for nearby hotels if we are looking to stay over?

We're please to confirm that there is a discounted rate for the Holiday Inn, Media City (a short walk from The Lowry) plus parking. Please get in touch with Peeps  and we'll send the code.

Question 6

I'm going on my own and don't know anyone - is there someone who I can meet up with?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We understand it can sometimes feel daunting going to an event, especially for the first time. We'll have some of our lovely team (including Peer Support Volunteers) on hand to welcome you & make sure everyone is ok. If you'd like to make arrangements in advance please let us know.
