WRITING FOR THE HIVE NEW WRITER PRIZEWe’re beyond excited to be working with Hive South Yorkshire to find the best young writing talent out there in Sheffield.Writer in Residence, Nik Perring, is running a FREE online masterclass to get your creative brains warmed up for Hive’s Young Writer Prize.Fancy entering the competition but not sure where to start? Or would you like to brush up on your writing skills you might not have looked at since primary school?Nik shares his expert tips and professional knowhow from over fifteen years of judging and writing for competitions.He’ll show you how to get started, guide you through generating your own brilliant ideas and making the best of them by turning them into competition-worthy stories and poems.Suitable for ages 14-19, this event will take place over Crowdcast. (As as safeguarding measure, no attendee video streaming will take place during this session).
