  • Wireless Device Security
  • Computer Operating Systems
  • Computer Programming Advanced Level
  • Configuring/Troubleshooting Firewall Essentials
  • Configuring/Securing Networks

Entry Requirements:

Minimum Entry Requirements is likely to include at least one of the following:

  • National Certificate in Computing at SCQF level 5 or level 6 or a combination of both
  • Any one relevant Higher (SCQF level 6) together with Maths and Computing or a Science
  • Relevant National Progression Awards such as NPA in Cyber Security at SCQF level 5 or 6
  • Applicants with relevant experience but without formal qualifications may be accepted via interview. IT Professional Training recognises that many students come to the institutes with a wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge that has never been officially assessed. This may have been gained through a variety of personal situations
  • Relevant industry experience and/or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis will also be considered
  • Vendor qualifications (certificates) will also be accepted such as from Cisco, CompTIA, EC Council etc.
