"They could not erase us"
An event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day in Kirklees.
Following a procession of Jewish, Bosnian and Kurdish figures through the centre of Huddersfield, a commemoration event will take place in Quayside Building, University of Huddersfield, when local school students and community groups will offer creative responses to the stories of survivors in words, music and pictures. There will also be presentations from keynote speakers Julia Kinch, granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, and Fereshteh Mozaffari, Iranian refugee and writer.
