Home education activity - wind

Weetslade Country ParkWide Open
Thursday, Mar 12, 2026 from 1 pm to 3 pm GMT
Overview

Join us for a hands-on activity as we learn about nature's invisible force of wind.

Aimed at home educated children 7-10yrs and their families.

We'll think about what wind is, how it helps nature and try our hand at a kite design activity to put our learning into practice.

Staff are DBS checked and First Aid trained. Children must be accompanied please. Younger/Older siblings not taking part are still welcome too. Please dress for the weather.

This event is part of the Championing Nature Programme, made possible by the partnership between Wimbledon and Emirates.
