About this event

Join us for a special event as part of National Inclusion Week where some of Aston University’s distinguished honorary graduates from the Birmingham Community will share their insights and experiences.

An event where distinguished honorary graduates from our Birmingham community will share their perspectives and experiences. We will be joined by:

  • Professor David Sallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Council of Governors of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
  • Steph Keeble, Director of Birmingham LGBT
  • Paulette Hamilton Member of Parliament for Birmingham Erdington

Our panel will share insights on inclusion and also respond to three thought-provoking questions:

  • What’s one inclusion practice you’ve seen work brilliantly that you wish more organisations would adopt?
  • If you could give one piece of advice to someone who wants to be an active ally but isn’t sure where to start, what would it be?
  • What’s one myth about inclusion you wish you could bust forever?
