Get ready for a unique adventure deep in the woods! Join us for the Horse Logging Experience, where you'll see how we work alongside majestic horses to move timber the old-fashioned way. This in-person event is perfect for nature lovers and anyone curious about sustainable forestry. Come enjoy the fresh air, meet Donk the Belgian Heavy Draft Horse, and hear how woodland is traditionally maintained for wildlife and wood.

Come and spend an hour in the woods with us. Feel free to arrive any time between 10am and 2pm and contact Farmer Tom. We'll walk with you from the farm yard down to the woods where woodsmen Iain and Jonathan will be managing our woodland and clearing logs with the help of big Donk. Bring a packed lunch if you like and linger round the fire while we talk about - and show you - how we farm sustainably and regeneratively acorss our habitats, and manage our woodland for wildlife. This is a rare chance to see horse logging in person, and not to be missed.

Wear suitable clothes in case it is wet and/or cold. The event will go ahead except in the case of extreme weather. There are basic toilet facilities. You are at your own risk. See you there! Children above the age of 7 are welcome. Experience length: 1 hour.
