How AI and Machine learning are accelerating discoveries in Biotechnology
AI and Machine Learning methods are being used by many different BioTech Companies to achieve accelerated results.
Oxford Brookes New Enterprise Centre - Google Maps Location
It has co-working space, office space and meeting rooms for early-stage companies in the tech sector and emerging markets, and lab spaces for startups working in the health and life sciences. Having opened in February, the Centre is now ready to take on high-growth startups and SMEs from across Oxfordshire with no requirement to be affiliated with Brookes.
This event will be an in-person exploration of how AI has drastically changed the BioTech landscape and will be discussing in more detail how this has altered the timelines for research avenues, including Cell Therapeutics, Pathogen Testing and Medical Analysis.
We will be hearing from
- Simon Bornschein, CEO of Coding Bio who are using an AI-first approach to design new CARs, combined with a high-throughput screening platform to discover best-in-class CARs to power the cell therapy revolution.
- Alex Batchelor, CEO of OxDX, will be talking about their solution building instant pathogen tests using super-resolution microscopy and machine learning.
- Aleix Cambray, Machine Learning Researcher from Optellum, will be speaking about their solution using AI and ML to enable clinicians to identify at-risk patients and to guide lung cancer management.
At the Centre, we want to bring together different sectors from across the Oxfordshire ecosystem, and we are hosting in-person, hybrid and online events for startups and SMEs in BioTech, Autonomous Vehicles, AI, Quantum and much more. Keep an eye out for our upcoming events, and follow us.
