Oxfam is a major international development charity with a vision of a world where we won't live with poverty.We are part of a movement seeking to improve the lives of those living in poverty bytackling the structural causes of poverty such as inequality and climate change.

In his new book, How Change Happens, Oxfam’s Duncan Green explores how political and social change takes place and the role of individuals and organizations in influencing that change.  He discusses the challenges that 'systems thinking' creates for traditional activism and aid, and how a 'power and systems approach' requires activists, whether in campaigns, companies or governments, to fundamentally rethink the way they understand the world and try to influence it. 
Join Duncan and other leading activists and change-makers for an afternoon of discussion and debate on addressing the challenges facing activists and how we can work together to change the world.
