Despite the fact that women make up nearly half of the workforce, the field of technology jobs is still dominated by men. In fact, women hold only 20 percent of the roles in the sector. Studies tell us that part of the reason for this is that girls and young women are less likely than male counterparts to study STEM subjects in secondary education and university.
