A free one-day conference exploring the diverse ways in which autistic people communicate

Quaker Meeting House

Presenters will demonstrate through research, life experience, original artwork, musical compositions and theatre the different ways in which autistic people communicate. This conference will also include a focus on non-verbal forms of communication, and consider how the participation and inclusion of autistic people who are minimally verbal can be improved. The purpose of the event is to create a calm, inclusive and creative space where ideas can be shared.Please note that in order to keep the event free for attendees, lunch is not provided (apart from for presenters and helpers).Below is a picture of the main Meeting Room, where the conference will take place. On the day, the chairs will be rearranged to form more of a theatre style layout.
