About this event

Every writer has their own way of working, but how do those ways evolve, and what can we learn from them? Using brief readings from the RLF Vox archive as a starting point, Northern-based writers and RLF Fellows Chris Simms, Susan Elliot Wright and Mark Morris, will talk about the nuts and bolts of how the writing happens.

From drafting and revising to overcoming blocks and embracing changes of direction, the panel will discuss planning and ‘pants-ing’, research, deadline, and much more. So whether you’re practising the craft of writing yourself, or simply interested in how professional writers work, come and join us for this lively event.
