<H3>Join us for an evening of lightning talks, inspiration, panel discussion and the chance to meet likeminded professionals over drinks.</H3>
Whether you run a tech for good start-up, want to work in the tech for good sector, or are a leader in this space, you'll meet four inspirational leaders who are contributing to the social impact technology space as entrepreneurs, freelancers or employees.
SPEAKERS:
Alix Dunn: Our host for the evening is Alix Dunn, co-founder of Engine Room, a non-profit that helps activists, organisations and other social change agents make the most of data and technology to increase their impact. They’ve helped more than 200 organisations, big and small, from every corner of the globe to promote equality, justice, human rights, good governance and accountability. Alix is also on the Advisory Councils of Open Technology Fund and Amnesty International.
Eddie Capstick: Social entrepreneur & Consultant. Digital business & academic background, co-founder of Worthwhile Studios and Beneficent as well as Director at MakeSense a global network of over 30,000 changemakers. Currently working on an app that represents a city-wide map of all the social enterprises.  
Hector Smethurst: Hector is the founder of Appt, a healthtech platform that uses behavioural economics to help patients manage their long-term conditions while helping GPs to hit their NHS targets. He founded the venture during his time on the Year Here programme in 2016. It has recently been awarded a £400k investment from Innovate UK to run an 18 month project in Barking and Dagenham.
