Running your own business is rewarding and challenging. Join our fully funded start-up workshops to get started! Learn how to launch a business, start a social enterprise or earn income by helping others. Open to B&NES and South Gloucestershire residents.

This event is only available and is FREE for Bath &amp; North East Somerset residents.Transform your passion for caring for others into a fulfilling self-employment opportunity!Join us for a workshop led by industry experts Michael Auton from Community Catalysts and Cool Ventures, where you'll learn how to start working for yourself by supporting people in their homes or in the community.This workshop is perfect for you if you want to earn a living from making a difference in the lives of older and disabled people. Background in professional care is not required! You can offer services such as companionship, personal care, overnight care, home help &amp; housekeeping such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, gardening, hairdressing, dog walking - all sorts of services. Michael Auton, the project lead in the B&NES area, has worked in the charity sector for over 30 years, the last 10 years running his own Fundraising and Marketing consultancy.Emma Smith is Cool Ventures business start-up expert who runs a number of businesses and has been advising individuals on how to start and run a successful business and obtain funding for over a decade.
