How to Digitalise Your Operations Using Systems Thinking
Join Aston University for a PrOH Modelling masterclass. Use systems thinking to digitalise operations & solve complex business challenges.
Aston University is hosting an in-person session for organisations to understand digital change in complex operational environments.
Rather than focusing on individual tools or technologies, this session introduces Process Oriented Holonic (PrOH) Modelling, a systems thinking methodology developed at Aston University to help organisations understand how their operations really work, where inefficiencies sit, and how digital solutions can be introduced in a structured and practical way.
Through applied examples and discussion, attendees will gain clarity on how PrOH Modelling supports better digital decision-making by connecting people, processes, and technology across the whole system. The session will be followed by lunch, providing an opportunity to network with peers.
This event is part of a funded project led by Aston University and supported by InterAct, designed to improve digital capability and resource efficiency across UK organisations.
Reasons to attend
- Learn how to apply a practical method to plan digital adoption
- Understand how to identify inefficiencies and prioritise improvement areas
- See how other companies in the UK have used this approach to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Find out how to take part in a follow-on in-depth support programme for selected companies
Who should attend
This session is designed for industry practitioners applying systems thinking and PrOH modelling to real-world operational challenges, including:
- Operations and Production Managers
- Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Process Improvement Leads
