During this talk our speaker will provide insight into the world of publishing and cover the following topics:

• Choosing the right journal for your research

• Publication ethics and AI

• Top tips for writing an article so it captures the interest of editors/reviewers

• Peer review and responding to reviewers

• Post-acceptance activities to promote your article

About out speaker Mozhgan Yavari from IOP Publishing

I hold a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and have carried out postdoctoral research in renewable energy and nanomaterials, including work at the University of Surrey (UK) and EPFL (Switzerland). I am currently an Assistant Publisher at IOP Publishing, where I support the development of Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics. My role involves commissioning content, managing focus collections, and engaging with the research community.
