Come along to this free workshop to gain tips and advice on how to make the most of your festival experience.

We will help you with creating a successful marketing campaign, covering:

  • understanding your audience

  • budgeting
  • working with the press
  • what makes a good story and much more

This workshop will be run by the Scarborough Fair team.

In addition to the usual festivals, we will have two street events in 2026:

Fringe Streets (Saturday 13 June)

On Westborough and Aberdeen Walk in central Scarborough, we will be holding a FREE Fringe showcase event called Fringe Streets. It is an opportunity for you to perform extracts from your event, do walkabout performances, hand out flyers and generally to engage with audiences. It is free to take part and we will provide you with slots to perform, mics and speaker and a changing area. Please email info@scarboroughfair.uk to register your interest.

Scarborough Art Fair (Saturday 4 July)

Along Westborough, we will be holding the first Scarborough Art Fair. The fee to take part will be £15, which will entitle you to a gazebo, table and chair from which to sell your artworks or do demonstrations. You are responsible for your area and no power will be provided. Please email info@scarboroughfair.uk for more information.
