Continuing the series of successful Retreats at Grafham Water, expereinced Buddhist nun Kelsang Malaya leads this thoughtful and relaxing retreat.

Overthinking is a bad mental habit that can be broken using Buddhist teachings. Free yourself from worry, stress and sleepless nights.

Do you wish you could take time out from the constant chatter in your head? That you could start to choose what thoughts stay and which you let go of?

Recognising where this constant chatter comes from and using timeless techniques to begin to reduce the busyness and create mental space. We tend to think that our problems come from outside ourself, however, when we start to investigate we find that it is our perception of things that is giving rise to what we experience.

Held in a beautiful lakeside lodge, refreshments and lunch are available from the modern and friendly cafe on site.

The course comprises two one-hour sessions each with guided meditations and teachings offering practical advice. There will be a half hour break in which you can enjoy the cafe, browse our book stall, ask questions or take a walk in the beautiful lakeside setting.

Light lunches are available in the modern and friendly Harbour View Cafe on site.

Seating is on chairs and no special clothing is required.

Suitable for beginners and those wishing to gain a deeper experience of meditation
