In this event <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/garthgilmour/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/garthgilmour/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Garth Gilmour</a> will walk you though strategies for creating and presenting a first class technical talk.Topics covered will include:<ul><li>You've been accepted. Now what?</li><li>Special considerations for first time speakers.</li><li>How to get the audience on your side, and keep them there.</li><li>Creating a slide deck that engages the audience and enhances your delivery.</li><li>All the things that can go wrong, and how to mitigate against them.</li></ul>This event will be followed by a series of open-mic rehearsal sessions, scheduled in the run up to upcoming conferences. The first rehearsal session is planned for the evening of the 29th at Rapid7. More details will be provided at the current event.
