Please join us for our monthly online networking event. Each session will run from 12:00 for a maximum of 1 hour. These events will be held on the third Tuesday of every month. Dates for your calendar:

The aim of this network is to connect CIPD HR professionals across the North of Scotland and Islands at any stage in their HR career, providing peer-to-peer learning to those who wish to develop their HR skillset by accessing support, validation and signposting from HR peers.
The session is a learning opportunity for those in the earlier stages of their career and more of a sharing/mentoring opportunity for those who have long honed their HR skillset. Please bring with you some ideas for discussion and a desire to share your challenges, ideas or learnings with those who attend.
Participants attending will create the agenda by advising whether they have an issue they wish to share and grade its’ importance to them from 1-3. Each session will attempt to cover all issues, but triaged based on its level of importance. A safe space will be created by not sharing any recording or notes of content, instead, the benefit of attendance is from using peers to probe issues and help participants drive their own actions. CIPD committee members will be in attendance to facilitate the session but not necessarily provide all the answers, that's the job of our peers either on the day or with further signposting.
We hope this network grows, develops and supports each other in our HR roles and we would welcome feedback after the event in this respect.
Please note:
- Webinar joining instructions will be sent to you again 1 day before the event, with a further reminder, 20 minutes prior to the event starting.
- The session may be recorded and shared with people afterwards. Please bear this in mind and have your camera off if you do not wish for your image to be shared.
- The chat function will be used for participants to engage with the webinar, so just be mindful of the login name you use and ensure you are happy for other people to see this.
- For security reasons, it is requested that participants join the live session 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and with the same name as registered on Eventbrite as not doing so may cause a delay or non-admittance to the event.
- This event may include an external speaker who has prepared their own presentation. Any views or opinions expressed by the speaker are their own and do not reflect those of the CIPD.
- Please note that refunds for CIPD Non-Member tickets will only be available until 7 days prior to the event, any cancelled tickets after this will not receive a refund.
