<h2>HydraHack is a casual meetup for technical people in Birmingham to share ideas, discuss techniques and learn from each other.</h2><h3>Each event takes a theme that reflects the hot topics of the industry, and we’ll hear a handful of talks and demos around that topic from specially curated guest speakers.</h3><h3>This time, we&#x27;re joined by <strong>Mike Fowler, Principal Data Engineer at Claranet</strong>, and <strong>Louis Quaintance, Chief Engineer at Wealth Wizards</strong>.</h3><p>Mike&#x27;s talk is titled From Warehouses to Lakes: The value of Streams, and Louis will be talking about Moving to serverless in JS.</p><p>The event is free to attend, and as well as providing food for your brain, we provide all attendees with a free drink and food.</p><p>You’ll also find a bunch of friendly, passionate and chatty developers who love what they do and have lots of interesting stuff to share.</p>
