Come along for a behind-the-scenes look at the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest Tree Nursery at Poole Farm! This whistle-stop tour will take you through the journey of a tree — from a tiny seed to a thriving sapling ready to be planted in its forever home.
Discover how up to 7,000 young trees are grown every two years for the Community Forest. Learn all about the process of seed propagation, including seed collection, processing, stratification, and sowing.
