A concert of inspiring choral classics opening with Handel's  "Zadok the Priest" and ending with Parry's "I was Glad"

St Helen's Church

A chamber choir based in the Buckinghamshire village of Chalfont St Giles, the St Giles Consort consists of experienced choral singers who either live there or have a strong connection to music-making in and around the county. This programme was first performed in July in Chalfont St Giles Parish Church just as restrictions eased and features many familiar and inspiring choral works to gladden the heart. As one member of the audience remarked after the performance in July :&quot;The choir sang beautifully with a well-chosen and excellent repertoire. It was great to finally listen to a live concert; let’s hope there are many more of those to come.&quot;
