What is the #IamRemarkable Workshop about?

This workshop will empower you to speak openly about your accomplishments and become more comfortable and confident in making your talents and achievements visible.

Elinor, our host, has facilitated this workshop (voluntarily) to over 350 people worldwide and across different industries e.g. at Soho House, university students, tech entrepreneurs, pharmaceutical, finance, government and more

The #IamRemarkable workshop is an opportunity for us to:

Develop confidence and competence to engage in self-promotion and increase our development and the impact of our work
Discover & celebrate our remarkable attributes & achievements - big and small
Challenge the social perceptions around self-promotion, and help create an inclusive workplace where we support others on their self-promotion journey

During this 60-90 mins interactive workshop, we will:

Look at the data and research regarding self-promotion, unconscious bias and limiting beliefs
Have an open, interactive discussion to challenge social norms around self-promotion
Practice articulating our achievements in a confident and effective way

Who is it for?

This workshop is open to anyone residing in the Islington area who wants to develop their own mindset and skillset to speak openly about their accomplishments, or support others in doing so.

This workshop will include activities requiring participant engagement, so please come prepared to get involved.

Better Space

This workshop will be held at Better Space, in the lower ground floor presentation area which is fully accessible by lift and entry from the main door on Farringdon road. Please arrive no earlier than the time listed above, unless you book a taster coworking day or day pass which can be done by emailing betterspace@city.ac.uk.
