Idea Exploration: Branding

The Oxford Foundry is the University of Oxford's entrepreneurship centre. It aims to support all 24,000Oxford students in taking an entrepreneurial approach to their futures. It focuses on building technology skills and providing practical learning around entrepreneurship, as well as on the creation and support of new ventures.Universities are global influencers for purpose-led entrepreneurship. At Oxford, the Foundry is actively shaping and driving start-up culture and feeding into the UK and European entrepreneurial ecosystem, with ambition to play a critical role in its success.

So what is branding and why is it so important to get it right? This workshop, delivered by <A HREF="http://www.farzanabaduel.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Farzana Baduel</A>, founder and CEO of <A HREF="https://curzonpr.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Curzon PR</A>, will give you tips on how to establish and embed a strong brand for your venture. Farzana will also focus on why having a strong personal brand is vital when setting up a new venture and offer guidance on how you can start building yours for success.

This workshop is a part of our wider '<A HREF="https://www.oxfordfoundry.ox.ac.uk/idea-exploration" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Idea Exploration" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Idea Exploration</A>' series which is in support of <A HREF="http://oxfordfoundry.ox.ac.uk/all-innovate-idea-competition" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">All Innovate</A>, Oxford University's first inter-college idea competition, run by The Oxford Foundry in partnership with colleges. 
Pitch your entrepreneurial ideas for a chance to win a top prize of £10,000, and two runner up prizes of £5,000. Whether you have an idea already or would like to develop one, whatever your interests, All-Innovate is a fantastic opportunity to get creative and explore the process of turning that idea into a reality.
