About this event

Do you have a great idea for a community project, but aren’t sure where to start?

This online workshop is aimed at anyone in Plymouth who is interested in running a community project or developing a new idea. It will give you the tools, guidance and support you need to develop your community ideas into action.

It will help you to:

• Identify community needs

• Find funding

• Q&A with professional community advisers

• Connect with like-minded people

• Understand the basics of forming a community group

The workshop is delivered by Paul Read.  Paul is a POP associate and has over 16 years’ experience of providing accredited business support services to charities, social enterprise, community groups and private businesses.

Paul has also managed a grant giving charity, been non-executive for two community interest companies, operational director of a community interest company and volunteered for a number of local community groups.
