Join us for a Masterclass with Ife Ogunjobi. A unique chance for emerging artists to learn & perform.
What is a Masterclass?
Masterclass is more than a talk, it’s a space for the next wave of musicians to learn, connect, and create. Each session starts with a raw and open conversation where our guest artist shares the realities of their journey: the breakthroughs, the challenges, and the creative lessons behind their music.
Then the floor opens up. The audience is invited to step up and perform with the guest star creating a once-in-a-lifetime chance to collaborate directly with artists who are shaping the future of music.
Meet Ife Ogunjobi
Ife Ogunjobi is a British-Nigerian trumpeter, composer, and producer whose music moves freely between jazz, Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, and soul. A founding member of Ezra Collective, winners of the Mercury Prize and BRIT Award for Group of the Year - Ife is a central figure in the UK’s contemporary music scene.
In November 2025, he released his bold new EP Tell Them I’m Here, a powerful statement of artistic independence that draws on his Nigerian heritage and the sounds of his upbringing in South East London. Expansive, textured, and fearless, the project blends highlife percussion, Afrobeats bounce, West Coast hip-hop grooves, and London jazz, anchored by Ife’s expressive trumpet work.
Alongside his solo work, Ife has collaborated and performed with global artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Dave, and has played some of the world’s most iconic stages - from Madison Square Garden and Glastonbury to Montreux Jazz Festival.
Previous Masterclass Performers
Our stage has featured global superstars alongside emerging artists on the brink of their breakthrough including:
NAO, Aziya, Joel Amey (Wolf Alice), Kara Marni, Kat Penkin, Naomi Forbes, Lee Kiernan (Idles) and DYLAN. Every event is a unique exchange between established talent and emerging voices, designed to spark creativity and empower the artists of tomorrow.
