Iftar Event - One World Festival 2026
Join us for a night celebrating Islamic culture and enjoy an Iftar dinner for One World Festival 2026!
If anyone regularly attend Iftar dinners in the Chaplaincy, there is no need to sign up to this event. Registration is only intended for guests who do not usually attend.
This event is designed as a two-part celebration that brings together our university community to learn about and participate in the Holy month of Ramadan. The first part of the event will serve as a celebration of Ramadan, open to students and staff from all backgrounds. A variety of interactive stalls and displays will showcase aspects of Islamic culture from Henna art, Islamic calligraphy, and displays exhibiting the contributions of Muslims to fields such as science, mathematics, philosophy, medicine, and the arts.
The second part of the event will consist of an Iftar dinner, during which fasting students and staff members can come together to break their fast. There will also be a large space for those who wish to pray. This portion will take place in the Chaplaincy sports hall and is open to both Muslim students and staff, as well as anyone else who wishes to join in.
