The Tunbridge Wells Poetry Festival runs from Thursday 1 June to Tuesday 20 June, 2023 and brings poetry to the widest possible audience. High profile headline acts combine with hands-on workshops, poetic entertainments and open mics in a varied programme that invites participation regardless of experience – do join in!

Chris Tutton is the critically acclaimed and award-winning author of seven collections of poetry. Hailed as “the master of the short poem” his work has also been described as “absolutely beautiful” by Alexander Waugh, with Iain Anderson of BBC Scotland noting that it was “philosophy in poetry form” and the Sunday Times commenting on its “dramatic passion and dignity”.Anne Denholm is one of the leading British harpists of her generation. She served as Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales from 2015-2019 and in 2020 was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. She is a founding member of award-winning contemporary experimental quartet, ‘The Hermes Experiment’ and has been recording and premiering new works for solo harp since 2006.“Magical.
