Welcome to the Imagination Lab where your imagination will unlock the fantastic future. The Lab is a space for dreaming up the future of things that matter to you from the homes and cities we live in, how we move around and the transportation we use, where and how we learn, what our schools are like, the food we eat and anything else you can imagine. 
 
Children will be able to time travel into the future with the help of stop motion animation. We will be using animation clay, paper craft, 3D figure models, and a digitally painted projection globe to create out-of-this-world models of our future universe.
 
Make your own short film exploring creative solutions to real-world predictions. Use our futurology toolkit to make films that blur the lines between science fiction and science fact. What will your life look like in the year 2025? Or even 2050?
 
This event is for children aged 5 - 11 and their families. Tickets are free of charge but need to be booked. When booking tickets please include the carer and parent as well as the children. We are welcoming school visits on Thursday and Friday, please book for your entire class.
