About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

🍵 Join us for a chat over a free breakfast😋 where we will talk about our experience of Felixstowe from different perspectives. Together we will think about what might be different here in the future.

🌞Felixstowe is a place that radiates healthful living and wellbeing. The land and sea support livelihoods, leisure and blooming biodiversity. The port, the largest in England, provides crucial national infrastructure and contributes to a healthy local economy. In the summer holidaymakers flock to enjoy the beach, food, and culture in a gentle setting.

🌬️But things are always changing, here and in the wider world. And so, whether you are a resident, worker or visitor, we invite you to share your impressions of this coastal town and to consider: what kinds of futures do we imagine here, how will we live and what's important to sustain?

Who is this for? For adults of all ages. If you live or work here, or are a regular visitor to Felixstowe, and you would like to share your experiences of this place, this is for you!

Why are we doing this?

Imagining the possible futures of the places we care about is the first step to forging the futures we want. Your conversations will inform a first public rehearsal for an immersive fiction about future lives in Felixstowe, during Open Heritage week in September.

FREE - but booking is essential as places are limited
