Imaging Symposium

Tuesday 28th March 2017

9am - 4:30pm

Teaching & Learning Centre

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

The University of Glasgow recently acquired Scotland’s first 7 Tesla (7T) ultra-high resolution scanner, which is being housed within the Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE), a purpose built state-of-the-art imaging centre at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.  When it opens, the Centre will provide unique clinical research facilities within the UK, allowing the development of advanced diagnostic imaging methodologies for use in stroke, cardiovascular disease and brain imaging.

To mark the opening of the ICE building and 7T MRI facility, the scientific symposium will offer the opportunity to hear from and interact with leading expers in ultra-high field MRI.

A downloadable version of the programme and speaker biographies is available here.
