Imbolc Dance Weekend
Get ready to dance surrounded by the magic of Imbolc at this weekend event filled with music, movement, and celebration!
Friday 6th - Sunday 8th FebruaryWith Leo Rutherford, Ruth, Paul and James
The invitation of Imbolc on the Celtic wheel is to connect to the heart fire, to allow the early kindling of growth. Movement is once more taking place beneath the soil, we are reaching up, there is a quickening. In the dance we have an opportunity to connect to our thoughts, feelings and actions, to radiate the warmth of the strengthening sun and begin the process of manifestation of our dream seeds for the coming year.
We invite you to this moment on the Wheel of the year through movement and improvised music. Without movement there is no life. Beginning by meeting in words and movement on Friday evening, we build community and trust, opening deeper into the enquiry of what may help us to shift and grow.
