Lessons learned from four online courses by TU Delft, Open University, Goethe University and University of Zagreb

Are you interested in innovative pedagogies of flipped classrooms and (online) work-based learning? Or do you want to know more about how to implement innovative assessment and/or learning analytics? We are pleased to invite you to a free engagement session where we will share and discuss our lived experiences of implementing four online courses for educators and practitioners (<a href="https://learn.rapide-project.eu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://learn.rapide-project.eu/</a>) for 200+ educators. These short courses were developed as part of the Relevant Assessment and Pedagogies for Inclusive Digital Education (RAPIDE project:<a href="https://rapide-project.eu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> https://rapide-project.eu/</a>) by Goethe University, The Open University, TU Delft, and University of Zagreb. This free event is aimed at academics, educators, learning designers, managers, and policy makers who are interested in learning about the most up-to-date innovative pedagogies, and how we managed to effectively increase knowledge and understanding of applying innovative pedagogies.The session has two different formats face-to-face at Jurys Inn Birmingham on Tuesday 31st of January 2023 and online on Thursday 2nd of February 2023. If you decide to join us face-to-face coffee and tea will be served during the day and lunch will be provided. As well as this, for the first 40 participants we can cover travel expenses up to £45*. He has published over 285 academic outputs, and is the 2nd most published author on Networks in Education in period 1969-2020 (Saqr et al. 2022), and the 4th most cited author and contributor in Learning Analytics in the period 2011-2018 (Adeniji, 2019).<a href="https://iet.open.ac.uk/people/rebecca.ferguson" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Prof Rebecca Ferguson</a>is Professor of Learning Futures in the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) at The Open University in the UK, and a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her primary research interests are educational futures and how people learn together online. Rebecca was an executive member of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) for four years and is currently one of the Editors in Chief of the Journal of Learning Analytics. Her work has been influential in shaping the field, supporting implementation across Europe, and promoting a focus on social learning analytics and on ethics. <a href="https://iet.open.ac.uk/people/simon.j.cross" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dr Simon Cross</a> is a Senior Lecturer at The Open University (UK). Based in the Institute of Educational Technology, his current research interests span many areas of education and educational technology including distance and online learning, assessment at scale, learning design, and teacher professional development. He has experience working on over forty funded and or strategic projects.<a href="https://iet.open.ac.uk/people/francisco.iniesto" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dr Francisco Iniesto</a>is a Research Associate and Associate Lecturer at the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University, UK. His areas of research and publications are inclusive design, accessible educational technology, and open education. His background is as a Computer Engineer with extensive experience in IT consulting and software development.*T&amp;Cs apply.
