ISO55000 was originally known as PAS55 and applied only to physical assets, but the scope has been broadened and some organisations are applying it to the non-physical assets that they manage to good effect. Sodexo are winning work and recognition for being the first FM company to adopt the new ISO55000 Standard in Asset Management globally and this event is being presented by Keith Hamer, Group VP Asset Management and Engineering, Sodexo. As Keith puts it:
“The launch of the ISO55k set of Standards is triggering a major shift by public and private sector organisations towards ‘whole life, whole systems’ thinking.” To learn about ISO55000, the wins that Sodexo have achieved for themselves, their clients and their people join us for an informative evening looking beyond the life of the building and towards the life it's users.

Keith Hamer
Keith is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, with additional post graduate qualifications in Manufacturing and Health and Safety. Keith has some 32 years’ experience in leading Technical engineering and service teams, providing Asset Management solutions in support of the core business operations for major private and public sector organisations. 
Keith has also been Chairman of the Asset Skills Facilities Management Board providing leadership to the development of national occupational standards and qualifications for the Facilities Management Sector. 
In his current role for Sodexo**, Keith has been responsible for the creation, development and deployment of a unique framework of processes to enable standardization of Asset Management service delivery in line with the requirements of PAS 55 and now ISO 55000. This framework is now helping Sodexo to demonstrate its Asset Management capability in support of a number of leading FTSE 500 global businesses.
**NB: Sodexo operates over 80 countries, employs over 400,000 people and has a turnover in excess of 18 billion Euro’s.
