Event description

Description

A fun and physical approach to storytelling where you will discover how to turn short stories into performances. The workshop aims to help you learn how to adapt text for the stage in order to embody the world of the story and figure out your own voice.

The workshop includes:

• Games and warm-ups
• Storytelling techniques
• Improvisation
• Ensemble, duet and solo work

We will use three contemporary short stories. Participants should have read the texts beforehand. Some acting experience is required. Spaces are limited, please book in advance. Do you have questions? Please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Places can be secured by emailing infoanahattheatre@gmail.com or booking online above.

Workshop facilitator: Andrea Cabrera Luna
Andrea trained as an actor at the National School of Performing Arts in Mexico City and read English Literature and a MA in Performance and Culture at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
