Back by popular demand! Complete beginners are welcome.You don’t need any drama, acting, comedy or improv experience whatsoever. You don’t have to be clever, fast or funny either! Also good for writers, actors and comedians looking to widen their skills and boost their confidence.Improv is not the same as stand-up; you’re not alone on stage and it’s not about telling jokes or being really quick and witty. It’s about working together as a team with other improvisers to spontaneously create group stories, scenes &amp; sketches.Led by Jon Trevor, founder and leader of <a href="http://boxoffrogsimpro.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Box of Frogs</a> based in Birmingham, who has been teaching and performing Improv for 10 years.The workshops will be taking place at <a href="https://www.canonfromecourt.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Canon Frome Court</a> near Ledbury, Herefordshire. Directions can be found <a href="https://www.canonfromecourt.org.uk/directions/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.Once you have completed the Beginners&#x27; Workshop you can do the Improvers&#x27; Workshop which will be held in the afternoon on the same day. Please book a ticket for each workshop that you would like to attend.If you already attended the Beginners&#x27; Workshop held on 30th November 2019 then you can go straight on to doing the Improvers&#x27; Workshop. In the Improvers&#x27; Workshop we will learn some new games, and build on the collaborative skills we learned in the Beginners&#x27; Workshop. Working in 2s, 3s and small groups, we’ll practice more ways of working together to generate exciting spontaneous creations. Please note, these workshops are for &#x27;grown ups&#x27; (we are looking in to organising some kids workshops so do get in touch if you know any children who might be interested in doing some improv).Contact Ellie for further information: events@canonfromecourt.org.uk
