About this Event
- What: You are invited to a free one-day workshop bringing data scientists together with key stakeholders from local and central government to support a community (Holme Wood), to improve lives through place-based urban analytics. The workshop is funded by the Alan Turing Institute.
- Who: Data scientists interested in Analytics –AI/Machine learning –Visualisation/Immersive Technologies. Early career scientists (PhD students and Post-doctoral Research Assistants and Fellows) are particularly welcome. We will endeavour to pay travel costs for early career scientists where required.
- Where: The Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research in Bradford (a partnership between the Universities of Leeds and Bradford and the NHS Trust)
- Why: You will be part of an incredibly important project that will be taking advantage of one of the most exciting datasets in the world –using linked data from the services across Holme Wood, together with rich datasets from projects such as Born in Bradford. You will be working with senior stakeholders and service providers from Local and Central government and shaping the future of urban analytics.
